This site is the outgrowth of our involvement in pet therapy and was created specifically to provide funding for a variety of animal humane organizations.

In 1999, after having seen the loneliness of many nursing home residents, we decided that our charming, social butterfly, Rocky, a cream Standard Poodle puppy was a perfect way to bring some smiles to these forgotten folk. In our search for a pet therapy group, we stumbled upon the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, which was just beginning to put a group together. After some serious training, Rocky became a Certified Therapy Dog and we undertook a "job" that has changed our lives forever. In 2003, we adopted Beau, a silver Standard Poodle and our family grew by one. He, too, is a Certified Therapy Dog. After some recent lessons at the Humane Society, Beau became an agility dog, solving his need for exercise and ours, as well. As of this writing, Beau has both of his Novice Agility titles and is now playing with the big kids.

Through our involvement with this humane society, we have seen the wonderful ways in which animals impact our lives, but we have also seen the results of thoughtlessness and cruelty that humans can inflict on innocent animals. We hope, through this site, to be able to assist various humane organizations in spay/neuter programs, rehabilitation and retraining efforts, preservation/no-kill attempts, adoption and pet therapy programs, where they exist.

In that attempt, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of EVERY item available on this site will go to animal humane organizations throughout the country.
